The .45 Winchester Magnum is a .45 caliber rimless cartridge designed for use in semi-automatic handguns. The outer cartridge is lgthed .45 ACP with a thick web to withstand high operating pressures. 45 Win Mag is nearly identical in dimensions and loading to the .45 NAACO developed by North American Arms Corporation for the Brigadier General pistol.
