The Mark XIX Desert Eagle is a semi-automatic gas operated pistol with a 7 in .50 AE capacity and an 8 in .44 Magnum capacity. The gun measures 10.75" in length with a 6" barrel, or 14.75" in a 10" barrel available in black as an aftermarket item. It is 1.25" wide, 6.25" tall and weighs with an empty magazine approximately 72 ounces. It has a trigger reach of 2.75" and a sight radius of 8.5" and a barrel of 6". The construction of the Mark XIX Desert Eagle uses the latest CNC machining technology that provides precise specifications and tight tolerances to create a masterpiece state of the art in precision The grip is anatomically shaped and provides an ideal hand seating angle for two-handed shooting that allows for comfortable, fast and accurate shooting.

Imi Desert Eagle .44 Magnum
Magnum Research has developed a new, fast and powerful .44 caliber pistol cartridge. The 429 DE (Desert Eagle) was designed to improve the popular and powerful Desert Eagle platform. This cartridge has a 25% increase in velocity and a 45% increase in energy in the 44 Mag (240 - 6" barrel). It has a velocity of 1600 FPS with 240 grain bullets and 1750 FPS with 210 grain bullets .
The 429 DE features a 30 degree shoulder on the head and neck that is long enough to hold and crimp a 240 grain bullet without recoil. Based on the popular 50 AE cartridge, the 429 DE is chambered in Starline brass, and loaded by HSM in Montana with Speer and Sierra bullets.
The 429 DE pistol (DE429SRMB) features a stainless steel slide, a stainless steel frame with Picatinny bottom rail, and a 6" stainless steel barrel with an integral muzzle brake and a black finish. The pistol ships with a .50AE 7-round magazine.
The 429 DE Mark XIX replacement barrel and Picatinny-style accessory rail are available in a variety of finishes. The barrel is 6" and fits the MK19 US or Israeli Desert Eagle pistol with a .830" wide rail on the top of the barrel and uses a 50AE magazine and bolt. The barrel will be available in the following options: carbon steel with a black finish (BAR4296); carbon steel with Burnt Bronze Cerakote™ (BAR4296BB); carbon steel with brushed chrome finish (BAR4296BC); carbon steel with brushed chrome finish (BAR4296PC); stainless steel with integral muzzle brake (BAR4296SRMB).

The Desert Eagle L5 and L6 are lighter by two pounds each compared to similar Desert Eagle products.
The Mark XIX L5 in .50 AE, .44 Magnum and .357 Magnum is offered with a 5-inch barrel length and features a hard-anodized black aluminum frame, black carbon steel slide and barrel, and Hogue rubber grips ®. . The gun also includes Magnum Research's popular integral muzzle brake. Overall, it is 9.75" long by 6.25" high with a 1.25" slide width. The lightweight Desert Eagle L5 model is New York State compliant.
